Kira Smith
Chiropractor
Kira got into chiropractic after experiencing first hand how much it can help the body and a back problem that she had put up with for years.
Whilst working in the university clinic, Kira gained experience in the treatment of patients using chiropractic adjusting techniques, soft tissue work, SOT and exercise rehab. She believes that good movement techniques are paramount in enhancing a patient’s response to care and improving their everyday life.
Kira has worked with a variety of individuals all varying in age and activity and has a special interest in headache management, exercise rehab and paediatric care.
Her passion is to help every patient reach their goals and become pain free as quickly as possible.
Tomos Ellis-Williams
Chiropractor
Tom is originally from Llanelli and is a graduate of WIOC (the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic). Before studying at WIOC he was a fitness instructor and personal trainer for 5 years. He worked with clients with injuries and was particularly interested in using exercise to rehabilitate those injuries. The natural next step was to study further, and Chiropractic was his choice, having had treatment for his own back issues.
Tom’s main hobby is physical training. He is currently training for a fitness event called Hyrox in November. In the past He has been a keen CrossFitter and Olympic weightlifter taking second place in the u105kg category in 2017 Welsh championships. He also coaches Olympic weightlifting and has done for 10 years.
He is looking forward to working with Fox Chiropractic and you all in September to use the combination of his knowledge of Chiropractic and exercise rehabilitation to help you achieve your health and fitness goals!
Darren Hughes
Chiropractor
Darren graduated from WIOC – The Welsh Institute of Chiropractic in 2021 with a Masters in Chiropractic.
His journey began with Indian head massage, moving on to ITEC Level 3 in Sports Massage then progressing to WIOC where he studied Chiropractic. Since graduating Darren has also completed his qualification in Dry Needling.
Darren became interested in Chiropractic following a back injury many years ago. After believing that surgery was the only option, he decided to visit a Chiropractor and experienced instant relief. Following a course of treatment his condition improved and he has been pain-free since. Chiropractic treatment was successful in Darren’s situation and this has inspired him in wanting to help others.
He is keen to gain knowledge and enjoys family time from walking the dogs to cycling.
Sarah Moody
Massage Therapist
Sarah came to sports massage therapy through her keen interest in sport. Having spent most of her adult life raising her 5 children, she decided to start running in 2013. A 5k soon turned into a 10k and eventually was surprised to find herself on the start line of a 50 mile race.
Of course, with all this running she encountered many injuries, especially in the early days. It was through looking at rehabilitation and various therapies that she became interested in massage.
During one of her bouts of injury someone lent her a bike and she adventured into the world of cycling and then triathlon. Sarah did Ironman Wales in 2018 and has been enthusiastic about the sport ever since.
Having qualified in sports massage therapy in January 2021 she has been a huge benefit and resource to triathletes from her local club. Sarah definitely knows the importance of being able to stay injury free whilst training for an event and has found chiropractic and massage very beneficial in this process.
Whether you are training hard for an event, having problems from working at a desk all day or sore from carrying your baby around, Sarah will help you recover and rehabilitate.
